30th ANNUAL
DUCK RACE TOTON
1.30pm New Years Day 2022
ONLINE DRAW ONLY

*****BREAKING NEWS*****
The 30th Duck Race on 1st Jan 2022 has been cancelled due to the continuing coronavirus situation and is being replaced by an online draw. More info.
The Annual New Year's Duck Race has been taking place in Toton on New Years' Day since 1991.
In this time we have raised over £60,000 for Age UK, Derby and Derbyshire and local Age UK projects.
We are pleased to announce that the Duck Race is going ahead in 2022 after it was postponed from 2021 due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The event, which has become a Toton tradition, is attended by local families, with people who have grown up attending the race continuing the tradition by bringing their own children.
Numbered Yellow Rubber Ducks are released into the River Erewash from the bridge at the end of Carrfield Avenue and race downstream to the finish line at the next bridge.
There are a number of stalls on the day including refreshments, toy stall and a tombola.
